A Meelup Environment Officer is employed by the City of Busselton to provide advice to the Council and regular briefings to the Committee on all matters relating to the management of the Park.

City Officers are responsible for providing advice on plans and strategic direction to Council and the Committee, co-ordination of on- ground environmental works, maintenance of park infrastructure and facilities, encouraging and facilitating volunteer participation in partnership with the Committee, financial planning and formal reporting and communications.

City operational staff perform maintenance activities on roads, picnic areas and ablution facilities, including removal of rubbish.
