Meelup Regional Park Committee
The Meelup Regional Park Management Committee (Committee) was established in 1993 to assist the City of Busselton Council in management of Meelup Regional Park. The Committee is a Committee of Council and is responsible for providing recommendations to Council on the strategic direction of the Park. The Committee is supported by the Meelup Regional Park Working Group who assist City of Busselton officers in the day-to-day operations and management of the Park.
Operational Management
In collaboration with the Meelup Regional Park Committee, the City of Busselton is responsible for managing Meelup Regional Park. City Officers are responsible for providing advice on plans and strategic direction to Council and the Committee, co-ordination of on- ground environmental works, maintenance of Park infrastructure and facilities, encouraging and facilitating volunteer participation in partnership with the Committee, financial planning and formal reporting and communications.
City operational staff perform maintenance activities on roads, picnic areas and ablution facilities, including removal of rubbish.
